Alcohol Violations Down, Drugs Up at Northeastern

Northeastern University has seen a decrease in alcohol violations, while simultaneously experiencing an increase in drug citations, the Northeastern News reports. Possible explanations: 1) a self-medication equilibrium, with more drinkers turning to meth and prescription meds, or 2) drinking habits are getting smarter, drug habits—not so much.

Meth is not the reason that there aren't as many drinking violations at Northeastern. It's illogical to presuppose without checking the facts that meth is an acceptable alternative to drinking, they're entirely different things. I go to Northeastern and meth is not a big problem, trust me.
