GW Swastika Probe Leads to Familiar Face

November 8, 2007 RSS Feed Print

One last (we hope) George Washington University swastika update: The search for the swastika-drawing bandit led police full circle, back to the first-year student who originally reported the symbol on her door, the GW Hatchet reports. Using a hidden surveillance camera, university officials say they caught the student in the act, and a university official says she confessed to drawing at least three of the six symbols. The stunt was "an attempt to highlight the University's inaction" in handling the first drawing, the student said. Did it work? Maybe: She certainly highlighted something.
