When I Was Your Age, I Slept on Twin Extra Long

Responding to students' widening waistlines and senses of entitlement, schools like American University and the University of North Carolina-Greensboro are now offering double beds for oft-slumbering students, the Washington Post reports.

College students (renowned for their maturity) complained that twin beds were "too small and too childish," and schools, eager to gain any sort of admissions edge, bowed to their "needs." And while leviathans and basketball players can literally rest easier, normal-size students may just have to cozy up to another warm body to fill the extra space.
