A Tip: Stick to English. And Somali

Columbus State Community College's attempt at friendly cultural relevance has left school officials scrambling for their foreign language dictionaries. According to a story in the BG News, Columbus State posted signs around campus that hoped to say "Welcome!" in English, French, Spanish, and Somali. The French and Spanish were spelled incorrectly. The English and Somali were right. Two of four ain't bad. —Alison Go
