Make Beer. Drink Beer. Graduate.

Ever want to know how that deliciously cold, golden brew got to your shimmering frosted mug? Stumble over to Oregon State University, where knowing such vital information will earn you a degree in fermentation science and a minor in chemistry, the Daily Barometer writes.

There is an on-campus brewery along with a winery at the school, which is also hosting an international hops symposium (it is the "the ground zero of hops"). The event even has its own "beer captain."

Since we won't be using the "best final exams ever" joke again, we leave you with the most tragic tidbit from the story. Because the brew house is "strictly for research purposes," the beer brewed there is poured down the drain as soon as study on it is finished. Talk about the ultimate party foul. —Alison Go
