The Cost of Being Black

I'd like to add a unique proposal to the discussion on reparations. My proposal would be supported by all Americans - guaranteed and pay 5 times more that what current proposals advocate for. Check out my idea at:

Would love to hear what you think.

I don't support reparations either to be honest. If it were possible to give reparations to slaves themselves then yes, I do believe reparations would be in order but honestly I don't see why descendants should get anything when they themselves havent had to go through slavery.

I also don't believe (in response to the second comment) that african americans lack power to affect the lives of caucasians considering the milestones civil rights have broken through since the times of slavery. We have a BLACK PRESIDENT. The leader of our nation is black. Is that a lack of power?

To the comment above.

It is true that blacks may have prejudices and at times feel hatred towards whites but the fact of the matter is is that black people lack the power to affect white people lives with their prejudices unlikle white prejudice.

Why do you think that forgoing television has anything to do with being black. Every black person I know has a bigger and nicer TV than I do.If anything right now there exists reverse discrimination.
