How to Buy a Souvenir in Prague

April 2, 2007 RSS Feed Print

Wonder what it's like to study in Prague? A group of New York University students attending classes in the Czech Republic has launched a webzine that will give you the scoop, the Washington Square News reports. Stories published so far on The Prague Wanderer include tales of one student's efforts to find authentic Czech souvenirs (translation: not made in China) and a commentary on the differences between the way homeless people act in New York and Prague. "Unlike working for the school newspaper, the students are only here for four months," an adviser to the Wanderer writers tells the News. "All the work is done by students who are exploring Prague, exploring the Czech Republic, traveling and juggling classes."
