U. Miami Gets Gore, Then Clinton

Al Gore may have won an Oscar, but Bill Clinton can still draw a bigger crowd--at least at the University of Miami, where Clinton drew 7,000 to a speech Thursday and Gore just 6,400 in a talk the night before. Why the star-studded double-header? Gore spoke about his documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, while Clinton spoke for the college's spring convocation, the Hurricane reports. University of Miami President Donna Shalala, Clinton's secretary of health and human services for eight years, invited both men to speak.
