Who would have thought there's such a thing as too much voting? Definitely not democracy-loving us, as we opened polls for our Best of College Newspapers 2006 poll. Luckily, brave University of Southern California Daily Trojan staffer Yoo Mi Chin has set us straight. In a column yesterday, Chin--"a first-year print journalism master's candidate from Jakarta, Indonesia"--calls out two fellow staffers for encouraging friends to cheat our system. Yes, technically this poll is more one-computer-one-vote than one-man-one-vote. But come on! Computer-hopping is lame--or, as Chin put it, "lack[s] professionalism."
P.S. If you haven't voted yet, you are more than welcome to do so once. Voting ends January 23.
