Wash. U. Students Say School Stifles Political Debate

Policies at Washington University in St. Louis stifle political debate, students tell the Student Life. Last year, a national College Democrats convention featuring John Kerry could have been held at Wash. U.--but was moved to nearby St. Louis University instead because of university policies that prohibit "partisan political meetings" on campus. Wash. U. should loosen those restrictions, said the College Democrats' president.
