- Western Kentucky University will transition to Division I-A football, a 7-2 vote by its board of regents decided yesterday.
- To increase its diversity, Kennesaw State University is targeting a new demographic: home-schoolers. Since 1995, over 200 home-schooled students have attended KSU, the Sentinel reports.
- Black Student Alliance members marched to the polls early yesterday at the University of Texas, part of a campaign to "dispel stereotypes that blacks are not active voters," the Daily Texan reports.
