After Failed Student Government Takeover, Utah Radio Faces Another Possible Hit

+ More

KUTE, the University of Utah's student radio station, is used to getting about $15,000 a year from Utah's student government, the Associated Students of the University of Utah. It's also used to getting told the money isn't worth it. Last year, the ASUU tried to take over KUTE radio. That didn't happen, but this year the ASUU's new administration has taken up the cause again, with a proposal to suspend KUTE funds for the rest of the year, the Chronicle reports.
