If charges against them are dropped, two former Duke lacrosse players would be welcomed back to their old team with "open arms," the current team captain told the Duke Chronicle. The head coach and other athletic department officials confirmed that the two former players--who were college juniors when they were indicted last spring--could return to school and the field, assuming they stay in good standing with the university and the NCAA.
