Emory Gets Not Just Rushdie but His Papers, Too

In a two-for-one deal, Emory will not just add Salman Rushdie to its faculty. It will also add his papers--including his journals, notes, photographs, correspondence, and the manuscripts of two unpublished novels, the Wheel reports. According to one Emory staff member, the school's commitment to literary archiving was part of the reason Rushdie was attracted to Emory in the first place.
