After Being Ousted From Student Government, President-Elect Was Arrested, Too

He is charged with stealing about $5 worth of merchandise (a roll of Sweet Tarts, a lighter, and a SoBe energy drink) from a gas station minimart—but Penn State University student Jay Bundy's problems got worse when he tried to resist the arrest, according to court documents reported in the Daily Collegian. Bundy, who said he was briefly walking out to the gas pump and intended to pay for the items, has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Earlier that day, he'd tried to resist his ouster from the student government. Then he spent the night in jail--but Bundy tells the Collegian it was worth it. "I spent one night in hell," he says, "but do you know how much street cred I got?"
