  • The $100 laptop, an initiative championed by MIT professors that hopes to produce a low-cost computer for mass sale in developing countries, will actually cost $138--at least until the end of 2008, the Tech reports. By 2010, the $100 laptop will actually cost $50. In between, it will cost $100.
  • Colgate University's homecoming party turned into a girl-on-girl fight last weekend, the Maroon-News reports. This "ruined" one freshman girl's first homecoming but most likely made many freshman boys' night.
