UCLA Students Protest Lack of Diversity, Blaming Admissions Practices

More than 100 UCLA students held a rally yesterday to protest the school's lack of racial diversity, chanting--at one point--"UC Regents, I see racists," the Daily Bruin reports. UCLA recently pledged to fight declining diversity by adopting "holistic admissions," but student protesters are skeptical the change will go far enough. They want to see a 1996 ban on affirmative action repealed.
