"Some people don't get [it]," said one of the protest's organizers. Apparently they don't belong to the Ironic Listserv, the E-mail list on which the idea--to protest apathy at the University of Pennsylvania by, well, protesting apathetically--was hatched. Marching students chanted "Down with activism!" and waved paper signs labeled "Make love, don't think" and "Don't waste paper." They did not really mean these things, the Daily Pennsylvanian explains.
