At MIT, Funds for Strippers OK

Dedicating a portion of its funds to pay for guest strippers is no big deal, an MIT residence hall voted yesterday, the MIT Tech reports. One student complained after house residents approved a proposal to create a "SEX-C Fund" (stands for "Simmons Entertainment Xecutive Committee"), whose money would go to buying strippers and some food to eat while students watch them. Opponents say strippers demean themselves and the people they strip for; proponents argue strippers will help students "relieve stress during finals." Yesterday, the stress argument won, 40 to 32.
