University of South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier suspended his starting quarterback indefinitely yesterday, following a bar fight that led to the QB's arrest. But Blake Mitchell wasn't going to be getting much play anyway, Spurrier told the Daily Gamecock. "He hadn't practiced much," the coach said. "He had a little bit of a bad finger." Mitchell was arrested after he allegedly punched a bouncer who tried to stop him from bringing underage girls into a bar early Wednesday morning. Because, of course, that's the best way to heal a finger!
