Texting is a good source of communication as long as it is done in moderation. Texting forces teens to read and spell. It also helps teens to increase fine motor skills and how to multitask.

Texting is fine and some people just need to lay off and stop trying to be so whiny about everything!

All these comments crack me up and for one reason. Almost half of these poeple can't spell! Everyone commenting on this article arguing that texting should be allowed in schools should at least take the time to type every word out and spell every word correctly. Otherwise, you are deminstrating that texting has corrupted your spelling skills and should be banned from schools.
