Other ethnic groups came to this country on their own. They were not kidnapped and brought here, made subhuman, sold, raped, lynched in this country. So their perspective of the possibilities in the US is very different. Our systems and institutions see them differently as well. They believe the studies that for hundreds of years suggested that blacks were genetically inferior and not quite human, that is why many well meaning whites and even poor whites accepted slavery, Jim Crow and recent legal discrimination against blacks. Remember the water fountains and the toilets said "Whites Only" that included poor whites as well.

I'm not sure what Martha in VA means about Africa. African/African American people have been socialized as well as whites into believing in the superiority of whites and the inferiority of blacks as collectives, not individual. The racial gap cannot be explained by individual behavior. As the statistics show, African American students from 2 parent educated, and well incomes homes still perform lower than their white counterparts. Africa' s wealth was seized and distributed by european powers through the Berlin Conf. In the 1800's and whites still won and control the resources of the greatest resource rich places on the planet. Then the indigenous people of Africa were left to secure these diamond minds and rubber companies against other africans and now there is great violence Ad conflict that we try to resolve through charity. Give the African and black people of the nation their wealth back. Give them the same privileges that whites had for hundreds of years building wealth on the back of blacks and free labor and then we can see if they would have the best outcomes in our institutions. Our history has been grossly tampered with and leaves us without accurate understanding of how we got in this situation in the first place.

What about Africa? What about black students taught by black teachers? Do we really have to keep excusing poor performance by finding someone to blame? Whites are an easy target.
We do the entire black race an injustice if we believe they cannot do it without the Caucasian race to help them. What about personal accountibility?
I see Hispanics, Asian and other ethnic groups work very hard in the classroom. Why don't blacks? That is the question we need to answer.

The best way to help kids to be good students and good citizens is to make their parents responsible. Being poor or being rich, being White, Black, Brown or any other color does not make an honest and decent person.....that is learned at the dinner table of a Christian intact family. Take God out of the equation and what is left?
The best predictor of becoming very wealthy is your individual drive. No amount of education is going to make you wealthy. It may place you in an arena where you may rub elbows with the right individuals.......but true success still comes from inside of you.
On the science front, there are many unexplained amazing mental abilities among autistic savants. I believe we all have these abilities (irregardless of race)....but our bright scientists and medical doctors have not figured out how we can tap into these amazing abilities. They have not even found the cure for Alzheimers.
America needs to stop blaming school teachers for their childrens poor school performance. Here is a novel idea....why don't we blame the parents? Poor, middle class, or rich (of any color)....it is the parents responsibility to help their children with their school work. "I'm too busy working"....is no excuse. "I only went to the sixth grade"....is no excuse. You will find many millionaires in America without education. And lets face it, Americans are totally impressed with how rich a person is....not by their education. So why don't we teach kids how to become millionaires instead of demanding advanced education beyond the basic 3 R's?

The sad truth, we were all raised into believing a lie of racial equality. In fact if i point this out, many of you are so brainwashed with political correctness that you will shun me for stating a fact that all educated people know to be true. We are bound to our evolutionary gene pools, and by race they are very different. Blacks have superior physical abilities, their evolutionary environment created it. Asians have superior intelligence for the same exact same reason. Even the man who won the nobel prize for discovering the DNA structure admits it, we can run from the topic scared. but in the scientific world it keeps rearing it's ugly head.
WHITE PEOPLE have based their social policies on a fluffy little faith based lie, racial equality has no element of truth to it whatsoever. It's ONLY white people that have embraced this scientifically flawed idea, asian/black/hispanic countries have never adopted the idea of multiculturalism or diversity, they laugh at the idea.
It's actually so bad in America that there is a point of no return, white liberal fluffy policies have created the environment of virtual white extinction from America within 200 years. Within 100 years America will be a spanish speaking 3rd world socialist nation, that's what white people want lol. WHITE PEOPLES ALTRUISM IS GUARANTEEING THEIR EXTINCTION, ITS MADNESS
