All families pay a heavy tax, included in property taxes for children to go to school. This is not a subsidy--it's a choice of which school gets the tax money all home owners are required to pay. I hope it grows to every state, and local education can bring some sanity back to the classroom.

Most of these voucher programs seems to be aimed at helping poor families pay for private school. In Douglas County, CO (the 7th wealthiest county in America according to Forbes), the voucher program will be subsidizing wealthy families.

Don't forget about the first local school board created voucher program in the nation, passed last month in Douglas County, Colorado. That process is moving forward quickly:

It's great to see school choice on the advance all across the nation!
