Should all recommendation letters be submitted to LSAC? And do some need to be submitted to the school directly?

Some recommenders write different letters for different schools - for example, if they have an affiliation with one of the schools you're applying to. Most people send the same letter to every school.

If you have 4 fantastic letters, send Berkeley all 4. But if some are stronger than others, go with strength!

Glad you love the blog!

What does it mean when the recommender info asks for the "number of letters from this recommender"? Is it normal that a recommender write multiple letters for different schools? Is it ok to send the same one to all schools? Would this have to be indicated somewhere?

Also, if a school has a "recommended" number of letters, it is better to submit that number exactly or should I follow the maximum? (example: Berkeley's recommended is 2 but they accept up to 4).

Thank you for all of your help! I enjoy your blog greatly.
