Should keep his uninformed opinions to himself - its just sheer nonsense - all the facts show its the reverse - Asians esp immigrants work harder and have better grades than natives - white, black or Asian. Just look at who the top scholars, prize winners, honor roll names are - Asians way over-represented. Theres been a big increase in Asian representation at all the best schools mainly because they work harder and score better, ever since affirmative action - racial preferences for blacks and hispanics was removed. This story is true pretty much anywhere in the country. The main reason for the loss of gold mention is the rise in under-prepared students at these high schools is the influx of under-prepared students which are black and especially Hispanics.

Its all the Chinese and Korean immigrants moving here. It's a commonly known sterotype that Asians are smart, but this is only true for American-Born Asians. As children from parents seeking new opportunity in America, they are encouraged to work hard and fulfill the American dream. You go to Wooton and Churhill and you will see that the proportion of Asian students to the entire student population is pretty large. Coming from an Asian myself, I know this well. However, there has been an influx of immigrants from Asia. They seem to think that because Whitman, Churchill, and Wooton are the best schools here, by sending their children here, they will automatically do well. This is untrue, and any American-Born Asian you ask at those schools will know how hard they worked to become the best. Any Asian able to move into this type of community is clearly rich enough to travel and settle in Montgomery County, which means their child is likely spoiled. You don't know how many lazy, unintelligent Asian immigrants have flooded our school. Their handicap for language is the reason our SAT and HSA scores are falling, and there is nothing we can do about it.
