6 Ways to Get Free Cash for College

Creative way to pay for college. I attended WVU (West Va. Univ) from 1970-1977. While reading the catalog I read about employee benefits and noticed that all full time employees receive free tuition as a benefit. It can be used for yourself the employee, your children, or your wife. You only pay for your books and there are grants to pay for those too. Most jobs were at the large University Hospital and many did not require a degree: cast cutter=me, medical aides on floors or ER, and many others. I worked full time and schooled 2 courses every semester. It took 6 years instead of 4 but I always had money, depended on no one and gained valuable experience in medicine. I am sure many other large Colleges have similar programs. I found Southern Universities more flexible than stuffed shirt schools in the North.

Please can the writer of this article delete the Xenophobic first sentence in making reference to Nigeria and scams. Majority of Nigerians are honest people who work hard for their money. Just like Bernie Madoff, Gleeson of Barings bank and many others have shown, scamming is a global phenomenon perpetrated by a few persons in ALL countries, and not just a Nigerian thing.

That Xenophobic comment is highly offensive and I expect the writer with her level of education to know better.

Your right about those scams, you really do have to be careful. Someone said above that the colleges aren't offering enough information and you would be right. I can personally vouch for Ugift, this is a option most people don't think of when there trying to get money for college. Whether your a student or a parent you know the importance of college and everyone else in the family does too. They will help may it possible.

Applying government grant for education won't be that easy. To apply just understand the specific stipulations and restrictions in securing the grant.

To many families take the college process for granted. It's all about school selection. What school thinks your child has the 'x' factor that makes them worthy of scholarship from the school? This is the missing link to the most "FREE" money. This is best explained in a recent report I read at http://9secrets.info/
