As you follow the 10 Steps to Picking the Right College, remember the UCLA CIRP (Cooperative Institutional Research Program) Freshman Study found that students who went to their first choice college and students who went to one of their back-up choices were EQUALLY happy at their schools.

It's more important to feel a sense of belonging to the school, to engage with the faculty, and to adjust to the academic environment. (from the UCLA Higher Ed Research Institute blog)
