Best High Schools in Wyoming

High school students in Wyoming take statewide assessments in reading, writing, math and science. College-bound students who show financial need may be eligible for the Hathaway Scholarship, which provides financial support to attend in-state postsecondary institutions, such as University of Wyoming.

Of the Wyoming schools included in the U.S. News Best High Schools 2013 rankings, two were awarded silver medals and 17 received bronze medals. The top-ranked secondary school in Wyoming is Jackson Hole High School in Teton County School District #1, which is near the state's border with Idaho, and almost seven hours west of Cheyenne, Wyoming's capital city.
