Rhode Island tests the reading, writing and math skills of high school students with the New England Common Assessment Program, according to the Rhode Island Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. Through the Regional Student Program Tuition Break, Rhode Island students may receive discounted tuition at out-of-state colleges within New England.
