Oregon high school students must fulfill the Oregon Diploma graduation requirements, which include demonstrating community engagement and global literacy, according to the Oregon Department of Education. College-bound students who show financial need may be eligible for the Oregon Opportunity Grant, which provides them with financial aid to attend Oregon-based universities and community colleges.

Gold medal school Corbett School is located in the Corbett School District, which is roughly 20 miles from Portland and about 70 miles from the Oregon capital of Salem.
