Sturgis Charter Public School’s motto is “IB for all.” Students begin International Baccalaureate preparation as freshmen and transition to the full IB curriculum their junior year. The school does not offer any non-IB course alternatives. Sturgis Charter Public School engages in a school-to-school partnership with the American School of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, which includes cultural visits by each school and community service outreach in Honduras. Parents can participate in volunteer opportunities and the Sturgis Parent Association.
