Delaware students with a high GPA and 10 hours of community service, and who have submitted their FAFSA by a certain date, may qualify for the Inspire Scholarship, which helps pay for tuition at Delaware State University. Before they're college-bound, however, students must pass the Delaware Student Testing Program exams, according to the Delaware Department of Education.
Among the Delaware schools in the 2012 U.S. News Best High Schools, there are two gold medal schools, one silver medal school, and five bronze medal schools. The highly ranked Charter School of Wilmington is part of the Charter School of Wilmington School District and located about 50 miles from Delaware's capital, Dover.
