Arkansas high school students must earn at least 15 credits to graduate, which cover, among other subjects, oral communication and fine arts. Students are assessed via Criterion-Referenced Tests at the end of Algebra I and Geometry, and in 11th grade, by a literacy exam, according to the Arkansas Department of Education.
