All of this sounds cool but as "we" know the practise doesn't always match the policy. I plan on having around $55k in debt after B-school. I only want to work in the private sector. I believe that the gov't needs to step it up in creating opportunities to reduce this debt. In addition, a student loan should not have to go though the same credit process as other loans because most loans have somewhat of an immediate gain. Education loans take a while to get a return on investment. I cuurently teach at a charter school serving low-income students. However, I'm not sure how to get that credit now, and not after B-school. Any thoughts are helpful. Thanks.

does a grad plus loan cover nursing school?

briggs saroch of VA 1:50PM November 02, 2011

i am currently in the last year of grad school at south university and i have used the grad plus to cover my living expenses and transportation costs while i am attending school. south universyt recently lowered the cost of living and transportation expense for the college and as a result has cut my grad plus loan by 10k. my living expenses have not been reduced but increased for the year 2011-2012. this school does not offer campus living or off campus living so i do not know how they decided to do this and drastically impact the students who count on the grad plus to meet their living expenses for the year. i may have to leave the program or find another school that is more sensitive to the needs of the non traditional graduate student. if anyone out there can assist me with this issue please post it.

As we all know, graduate schools can be quite expensive and not everyone can afford it, especially in the jobless economy that we're in today. Considering the the everlasting student loan inflation, what is the least expensive method to finance post graduate education?
