Current, Former Students Sound Off on Graduate School

Graduate school alums share what they wish they had known before enrolling.

Before most students embark on a quest for a master's degree, they spend months researching programs, crafting admissions essays, and applying to one school after the next.

Despite all that preparation, the eventual realities of graduate school can come as a surprise. We used our U.S. News Education Twitter account to cull the best nuggets of wisdom from current and former students, so those who are just starting on their grad school path can learn from those who walked it before them.
