1. Is it possible to change directory information or obtain ranking information about my school that was not published?

The information presented in the online directory was collected during the fall of 2011 and winter of 2012 for the U.S. News annual statistical survey of graduate programs. Before contacting U.S. News to request a change to the directory data, please contact your school's institutional research office (or the equivalent). The person(s) who completed the U.S. News annual statistical survey should then review the data in question and, if need be, contact us to request a change.

Change requests must be submitted using the actual survey page on which the data in question appear. Please scan the corrected pages and E-mail a PDF to official@usnews.com. Requests that are received on forms other than the actual survey page will not be processed. Please include your E-mail address and phone number on your materials.

Updating the directory once the surveys have gone through the verification process is time consuming. Corrections normally take about four to eight weeks to implement. We appreciate your patience.

If you would like to request additional, unpublished detailed rankings information, such as where your school ranks in its category, please send an E-mail to official@usnews.com. U.S. News will accept requests only from the following university officials: director of admissions, director of financial aid, head of public relations, head of institutional research, dean's office, president's office, or provost's office.
