The current article is merely a recycled argument that occurs everytime a question of minority admissions raises it's ugly head. Unfortunately, our current President's aura has precipitated another tired article on the reliability of test scores related to college admissions. The usual suspects dredge up the "it's not a good predictor of street intelligence" crap. The basic reading, writing and arithmetic are once again put at the back of the bus when the minority numbers do not reach their expected quota. I am sick of this 60's age, ACORN driven, Obama in the White House thinking. Make the score, understand the basics, and take the test like the rest of the world and the cream will rise to the top. Unfortunately, lowering expectations, dumbing down minority education and quota driven goals will only put the US further behind the rest of the world.
