I think there are better ways to "interact" with companies. Facebook is still not the best website to use as long as young people do not follow (and do not care about) new privacy settings set by Facebook itself.
It is much better to interact with potential employers via websites with zero probability of containing inappropriate pictures: Take the well-known LinkedIn or the job-search site Graduateland: http://graduateland.com/ref/blogger1

I think it is an invasion of privacy. We should keep employers, creditors and businesses from being able to seep into our private lives, calculate our personalities, and discriminate on us based on open and FREE conversations that people have.
