Study: More Students Apply to More Colleges

I think, as the article mentions, students are applying to more schools due to a number reasons including the economic realities of financing a college education.

I am with the EDU, Inc. Common Black College Application. Our research suggests that not only do students use our application because you are able to pay one application fee of $35 and apply to 35 HBCUs, but equally as important you can receive financial aid packages from several different colleges.

I contend in this current economic climate there is a direct correlation between the increased number of colleges students are applying to and their desire to find an academic and financial match.
