Nice list. However, you missed the most important and most powerful way of all to beat the slump: figure out why you are in college and what jobs you hope to get upon leaving.
In my research, the grads who leave college with a job started making career connections, entry level jobs in their field and appropriate internships by the summer of their sophomore year.
