What I actually said for #2 of this article is the following:

If you are considering an “internship” where all you will be doing is making copies, filing, and getting coffee for the boss, run the other way…fast! Good internships are designed to be so much more. Do interns do some “grunt work”? Yes. It is to be expected. But the bulk of your time should involve working on projects that directly relate to your major or career goal. All of the good learning from your courses on campus should be put to the test in the workplace. It is where the “rubber meets the road”.
