To help you, we asked eight students from the class of 2010 at Sumner Academy of Arts and Science in Kansas City, Kan., what worked well, or perhaps failed spectacularly, for them as they chose the the school where their college lives now begin.

Student Profiles:

Nubia Gomez
Alyssa Jones
Carlos Fernández
Edgar Javalera
