Government Cuts Thousands of College Work-Study Jobs

Federal work-study decreases hit my university hard. I lost my job, as well as many, many other students. It's tough to accept that education is strongly discouraged in this country. I find it positively baffling that politicians prefer to make their budget cuts in EDUCATION. Note to all: when students can't get financial aid, we are forced to take out loans, which results in massive accumulations of debt across the nation. Bravo, America!!

There are also many different grant programs that students can apply for. It just takes a little research. S.H., http://www.schoolgrantsresource.com

I hope students realize that millions of dollars in scholarships are still out there for them to win. If taken seriously, applying for scholarships can truly pay off and greatly ease the burden of high college tuition. M.M., http://www.how2winscholarships.com
