IMPRESSED BY THE QUOTE. IS THEIR ANY END OF YEAR OR EXIT TESTING TO CONFIRM THE RSULT OR PROGRESS OF THE EDUCATION OR THE EFFECT ON THE STUDENT.
Says Riley, "What we're teaching is not only academic coursework to meet students' immediate needs but developing lifelong learning skills for the 21st century so they can meet the demands of the future."

I'm so glad the military is taking advantage of technology this way and giving students more opportunities for their education. Exceptional tools exist to support online courses and provide high-quality learning experiences through them.
Even many traditional high schools are taking advantage of computer-based courses. Especially ideal for technology education. See www.testout.com/academic

a LOT of kids will be "going" to high school this way, graduating FAST and skipping everything from "P-E" to fashion worries to drug dealers. There is no sensible reason that kids need to be assembled in groups to learn. Not any more.

Right on Department of Defense!!
Don't let the Department of Mis-Education anywhere near this project. They will turn it into the Washington DC schools. Don't let the Teachers Union near this. They will fill the children with marxist rubbish.
Open this program to all Freedom Loving Families.

I've been very disappointed with the low quality of the supposed graduate-level college courses that I have taken over the Internet. Aside from the fact that fact that the courses are usually not well-designed virtual education course, they are made more difficult by the fact that the truly high-speed Internet service needed to support video and animation is not available and/or not affordable in most of the U.S. Add to that the problems of oh, so many computers that lack the power necessary to support video and animiation.
The bottom line is that Virtual School is a second-rate to face-to-face interaction that takes place in an actual classroom with an actual instructor. But then that's how we treat our men and women in uniform and their dependents.

I am happy to hear about the military taking the lead in providing educational alternatives for the many children who are part of constantly relocating military families. To give this option is very wise in our changing world. Our children deserve the best education that is available, and a parent's commitment to keeping our country and world safe should not interfere or hinder that.
However, I would like to see this concept enlarged to accommodate students that are not part of the military. I would like to see virtual education become an option for all American children. It is important that all avenues of learning be available in order for our children to thrive and succeed in the future global society. Perhaps if the military system is successful, our leaders will look at how to make this available for all American children as a educational, protected right.

I am a virtual student in Connections Academy, and it's the best school I've attended! I live in Maryland and when we came across Connections we were very impressed with all the different courses available for an online school. I am so pleased to hear the military is doing this! This will greatly help the students with their education. Connections Academy helped me with my education so I'm positive this will help these students.

I am in connections academy and I love it. It has helped me achieved my learning goals. I have gone from struggling in school to getting all a's and b's. Connections Academy is a great way to learn.

I'm a virtual school student with Connections Academy and I love it. I think that the military doing this is a great step in improving the quality of education in America. I think that this can help all students, in all subjects.

Virtual Schooling should be available to any family that could benefit from it. I am happy to see the Military offering these classes. I would hope they would expand it to all children in the near future. They could also, see what virtual schools are now out there and work with them.
