Every year, U.S. News invites high school counselors to tell us the most important ingredient in picking a good college, and every year they tell us the same thing: You've got to visit campuses. We've taken their advice seriously, sending reporters out to schools across the country. This year, we visited Colorado, Chicagoland, and central Florida.
