Students With Learning Disabilities Get Help With College

Resources like these are available to everyone, not just the rich. Every state has a Division of Vocational Rehabilitation which is tasked with helping young adults and adults with disabilities of all kinds reach their goals. They may not pay for a program as expensive as CLE, but there are other support programs and practitioners available to meet those needs that are just as good. And using DVR is absolutely free for people with disabilities who are eligible.

I agree with Millie, its only for the rich. Rich are not the only ones that are smart, kind, and need help!!!

I need help. too.

Too bad these programs are only for the rich who can afford it. That's not even including the price of college for a girl like mine 56000 a year. Shame on all of you for not making an already difficult situation even worse.

I am currently in the CLE program for close to a year now. Unfortunately I am not receiving the services I expected which is a shame because the concept of it is a unique idea, it's just the execution that is to be desired. I do find that the staff have no idea how to deal with the students who aren't mentally sound and enjoy causing drama and the staff also babysit certain students who aren't mentally sound. Most of the staff have no clue what they were doing. It’s an expensive babysitter/ tutor some parents used to get rid of their kids. The staff are also a bunch of a drama queens.

I do find however that it helps with the tutoring that since because of my learning difficulties I get as much support as possible in this area Unfortunately I find the other areas like Financial, ILS and Cooking group very unsatisfying . However because it's an expensive babysitter service that some parents use to get rid of their kids it makes it very hard to take it seriously. All I have left to say is when it comes to helping kids better their futures, they should be more reliable. Especially since it’s so expensive not including living expenses and college.
