Hello my name is Chris I am 56 year's old and have been unemployed for over two year's. I have spent all my adult life in the construction business. The last job I had I was construction superintendent over a 14 million $ LEED'S job. So I have worked my way up the rank's with alot of time and sweat. Normrley if I had a lapse in work I could pick up some side work until thing's got better but there are way to many construction worker's that pay there people nothing now I can't compete. But I think I may have found a niche mold remedeation. You can either take the classes online for between 400 and 750 dollar's are attend school at almost 4 times the cost. It's a job that will be there as long as we have mold problem's plus the million's of sheet's of sub-grade sheetrock that was imported from China during the housing boom.I have many year's experiance in construction and I use to deal with mold on a weekly basis. But you have to take these courses which are probly very informative to get your certifacation. If you could direct me in some direction to get a grant are a loan It would be greatly apprecated. Thank's for your time sorry for being so long winded!

I was recently laid off from working as a customer service help desk technician, and looking to go back to school to even just start off with my CNA in the medical field. I would like to earn a Nursing degree as my goal, but need help to pay the cost of school. I live in the Kenosha, WI area and I am begging for help and guidance.

I wonder if Wichita Kansas does the same. I am laid-off from an aircraft industry for 2 years. I have a bachelor degree in Social Work, but never work. Does Wichita Kansas have free tuition and scholarship for laid-off worker too. Because I'm looking to pursue a career in aircraft industry, the job which I loved and laid-off from.

I am a 57 yr old who has been out of work for 1 year. I am hoping that the State of WI will fund the bigger part of my Associates degree. I am looking for scholarships too. Any help would be appreciated. This is a tough economy & even tougher for those of us out of work.

I already have a bachelors and masters degree in Elementary Education and I live in Indiana. I could have a job at a Montesorri school if I had the training. I'm looking for a grant so I can get this training.
