Watch out... you could be next and exposed by the anonymous group. I think they want to rip everyone off supporting this... I say great!

It is completely outrageous that one would even consider such an act. In fact people who are for this act are insane. They have absolutely no humanity inside them.

Exposing How The US Chamber Of Commerce Deceives About SOPA With Bogus Stats

I find it interesting that those who support ProtectIP and SOPA cannot address any of the technical ramifications of the bill. I personally think SOPA and ProtectIP is a great idea. I think the web has become too large and commercialized. The DNS blocking is very easily circumvented and DNSSEC will collapse completely. Real pirates will now be able to download and share files with impunity because the Hollywood studios will no longer be able to monitor the torrent or other file sharing networks. It's like locking themselves out of their own house. A solid tight structure of DNS will become split up and decentralized and we it will become essentially like the wild west like it was in the 90s when only true techies can survive. I would like that actually. I would be a little wary about shopping or banking online though.

If any of the arguments defending internet theft were used to defend stealing in the physical world they would elicit broad laughter. Do we encourage people to steal from stores because it is inconvenient to shoppers to have anti-theft technology in stores? Every sucessful marketplace has rules. Defending lawlessness is not a good strategy for the internet, for consumers or for American workers.

Steve - No one disputes piracy is serious OR that going after the money will effectively deal with the main piracy operators.

What IS in dispute is messing with DNS Security (DNSSEC), a key part of the future of Internet security. The security of the Internet protects businesses and citizens against cybercrime and other security threats.

--> And of all organizations, the US Chamber should know since the Wall Street Journal says you just got hacked! <--

Internet security is important - don't screw it up.
