Ms Day, your just saying that because your a republican co-chair and want a republican to win. Not because you believe it, just because you co-chair. They want to take woman's rights away.

Rosemary Sanchez of AZ 6:29PM September 01, 2012

Sorry Ms. Day, you are grasping at straws. The fact of the matter is the GOP is opposed to equal pay for equal work. Earlier this month the Lily Ledbetter Act was turned back in the Senate largely due to the Republicans. The GOP is anti-women, anti-middle class and anti-American worker. Frankly, this will jump up to bite the GOP in the butt in November - as well it should. The GOP created this monster and now they have to live with it

Sorry Ms. Day, Politifact and the Chief Labor economist under GW Bush say that you are wrong. This article carefully analyses the numbers from the Bureau of Labor statistics and th graph shows how both men and women rates of unemployment are rising and closing.

Susan van Inwegen of NJ 9:20AM June 09, 2012

Ms. Day, Apparently your memory is deficient. You cannot just erase the embarrassment George W. proved to be. He began a war, based on a lie, which was taken off the book and never paid for not to mention the lack of regulation that created the economic meltdown Obama inherited. You sound uneducated and simple minded when you talk down to the women of this country with such meaningless arguments.

Beulay Renford of WA 8:53PM May 21, 2012

President Obama didn't have anything to do with the high unemployement rate for women. You need to look at the greedy CEO and Uper level management making three times what they are worth. They feel women got a spouce and they will be taken care of and can get money from other sources. He is not the blame and people need to look at the big picture.

Errica Wilkerson of AL 5:05AM May 11, 2012

Strong women scare weak men and the Republicans are weak they attack women poor people children gays and lesbians blacks. They claim they are christains. What is a Christian that imaginary person that talks to you. Its really funny how they are pro life but want to cut food stamps and children's lunch programs and give it to the rich oil companies. Oh by the way iam a women and I kept my full time position at work with healthcare when the recession was going on. How many women lost their jobs under obama was it 92 percent as mitt claims what a stiff neck he is get your facts right mitt.

What can be more insulting than an unnecessary forced vaginal probe on women? Slicing up an unborn child’s head with a knife.

What can be more insulting in saying women deserve less pay? This is a push: Saying single men deserve less pay than married men.

What can be more insulting than saying all females who take birth control pills, no matter for contraception or medical reasons, or whether the female is a minor, are "sl*ts"? Saying that most people believe this.

What can be more insulting than supporting laws to deny women their birth control pills? Thinking people assume facts not in evidence: denying women their birth control pills is insulting.

What can be more insulting than demanding women have children and then denying them any help? Thinking people are demanding all women have children.

What can be more insulting in thinking a woman should not make her own decision regarding her own personal private health and sexuality? Thinking people assume facts not in evidence: people think a woman should not make her own decision regarding her own private health. And thinking people know what is meant by sexuality in this context.

What can be more insulting than Republicans pretending this is not a war against women, liberal women especially. Thinking this rhetorical question reveals facts.

What can be more insulting in thinking we would even believe them? Thinking the sentence makes sense.

Women work disproportionatley in public sector jobs. What sector has the GOP so vehemently sought to defund and vilify? The public sector.

Women may have lost more jobs than men under the Obama administration, but it wasn't due to Obama's policies.

"Fewer women are working, and more are living in poverty. So it's no surprise that Democrats have attempted to change the subject in this election."

Uh...no. The state of the economy is yet one more winning theme for democrats, and we are more than happy to focus on it. Republicans' emphasis on unfettered market captitalism; millions of jobs lost to automation and overseas outsourcing; an economy that rewards short-term profit for executives and shareholders at multi-national corporations, at the expense of small business owners and wage-earners; and a millionaire Republican candidate for President, a vulture capitalist with five palatial mansions that made his money by adding debt to troubled companies and firing their workers, all the while hiding millions of dollars away in Swiss and Cayman Island bank accounts.

Bring it on, Baby! As the national conversation shifts from women's reproductive rights to the economy, women will be constantly reminded of Republicans' efforts to annex their wombs because state and local GOP'ers will continue to introduce noxious anti-women legislation; meanwhile, men, many of whom are not not-on-board with women's rights, will start to listen to the Democrats' proposals for increased governmental funding for infrastructure, construction, and manufacturing, sectors that predominately benefit men. I say, bring it on!

So, you don't use contraceptives? You don't work in a state where equal work for equal pay does not apply to women? You have never needed healthcare provided by Planned Parenthood? Don't you support planned parenthood like the Romney's do...er did?

You certainly did all you could for job creation by...by...doing nothing, how did that work? So in a depression caused by unrestrained greed how much did you and your party do to halt the slide? Well besides gutting financial controls ON Wall Street?

Oh, and by making the very rich pay their fair share of the costs for running this country, oh missed that too! Thanks also for supporting the job creators who while sitting on piles of money send our jobs and our oil to China
