"So there is simply no question that President Obama has the authority to make recess appointments"

No question in you mind, but you have either not read the constitution or acquird an understanding of it. Apparently our President doesn't understand it either.

Quoting:

"vacancies that may happen during the recess"

Which of the vacancies happened DURING the recess?

The Rule of Law is tricky for some people to grasp. I am willing to help you if only you would ask. Otherwise, please stick to comedy.

I have never seen a more foolish article in my life. Who paid you to ignore the facts?

The President does not have the authority to determine whether the Senate is in fact in session. Which according to the Senate they were until 5:00 this evening. So how do you make recess appointments when the Senate says they were not in recess.
